Strong for Surgery brings a pre-surgery checklist to doctor’s offices to improve clinical outcomes. The Strong for Surgery initiative aims to identify and improve evidence-based practices for elective surgical patients in four target areas: nutrition, glycemic control/diabetes management, smoking cessation, and medication review.
