About the Aortic Dissection Collaborative

With initial funding from a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute Engagement Award, the Aortic Dissection Collaborative aims to improve the management of and increase quality of life for people impacted by aortic dissection. The Collaborative is building a research infrastructure to facilitate patient-centered outcomes research training, support, and networking among patients with aortic dissection, vascular surgeons, cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, researchers with expertise in aortic dissection, research consortia dedicated to aortic dissection, industry stakeholders, and patient advocacy groups. The Collaborative will assemble a broad network of stakeholders who are well-informed about aortic dissection and patient-centered outcomes research, in order to guide research prioritization and eventual development.
