Cancer Care

More than a million people in the United States are diagnosed with cancer each year. Researchers are learning about what causes certain cancers and discovering new treatments every day. CERTAIN is helping improve cancer care by evaluating the effectiveness of certain cancer treatments and ensuring those treatments are relevant to the needs and priorities of patients.

Current Projects:

Endometrial Cancer Action Network for African-Americans (ECANA)
A two-year project to establish a multi-stakeholder organization dedicated to African-American women with endometrial cancer.

Lung Cancer Quality Improvement Collaborative
Thoracic surgeons and clinicians working to understand the landscape of lung cancer surgery in Washigton State and improve the quality and value of thoracic oncologic care.
